Other Teas Visited
I’ve been inactive in posting during the last (busy) week. I was in Los Angeles for the weekend and spent time with my girlfriend while taking care of school related stuff. However, my girlfriend and I did experiment with some teas.
I decided to purchase my first starter Oolong Tea (Tung Ting/Dong Ding) loose leaves. I do not have the proper materials needed to brew Gong-Fu style, so I brewed my tea using a standard Chinese porcelain tea-pot (can be used for oolong and black teas).
I will talk about my experiences in subsequent posts, so stay tuned!
Along with the “oolong,” my girlfriend and I also created our own Chai spice mix for some yummy Chai tea. Nothing better than grinding the spices yourself instead of buying pre-mixed stuff! I will also talk about this in a bit.
